Some examples of projects we have undertaken include:

Assessing the inhibitory properties of anti-microbial agents against target microorganisms. Testing carried out includes Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC).

Testing the effectiveness of air purification systems. In this project active air sampling was carried out in an environment with and without the presence of the purification system.

Testing the effectiveness of high powered hand driers. In this project, a novel drier was tested that sprayed hands with an antibacterial agent and then dried hands in the presence of UV. The effectiveness of this system was tested against a range of target micro-organisms.

Bioburden testing in varying environmental conditions. Medical devices were stored in a range of locations at different locations, temperatures and humidity levels to simulate environments in which the items may be stored worldwide.
