Air Sampling
The methods used are accredited by UKAS to ISO / IEC 17025:2015.
This is a gravitational sedimentation method for sampling air. Two types of agar plates are used:
Tryptone Soya Agar for the determination of bacterial contamination.
Sabouraud Dextrose Agar for the determination of fungal contamination.
These plates are suitable for the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of air by measuring the airborne viable particles deposited within a particular time scale. This technique does not measure the total number of organisms present in the air, only the rate at which viable particles settle on the surface.
This test can be carried out as part of a site visit or can be performed remotely by you.
