SALMED International Trade Fair of Medical Equipment and Instruments organised every other year in Poznan promotes the cutting-edge technology solutions on the medical market, creating opportunities for sharing experience, obtaining knowledge and constructing a platform for face-to-face meetings of representatives from the world of medicine, science and business.
 
The SALMED Trade Fair enjoys a well-grounded position as one of the most important fairs in Poland devoted to medical equipment and instruments for hospitals and clinics. Swann-Morton exhibited at the show with their Polish company J.K.Surgical who launched the Qlicksmart Safety solutions at the event for which they recently became the exclusive Polish Distributor. The range consists of the well known BladeFLASK along with BladeSINGLE, BladeCASSETTE ,Blade NeedleSYSTEM and the ampoule breaker range "Snap-IT" and is a natural extension of Swann-Morton's own range which includes the "KLEEN" blade management system, Shackelford Safety Scalpels and the sterile Blade Remover. J.K.Surgical's booth also featured a range of products from US manufacturer DeRoyal who along with Zarys in Zabzre support the privately owned company in their efforts to establish a prescence in the Polish market. .

Zarys and JK Surgical continue to offer training within the Polish Hospitals into Best Practice and Sharps safety solutions to assist in compliance with the EU Sharps Directive.
